May weather has been playing havoc with my skin as one minute it’s hot and the next it’s cold, to combat this I’ve been using smoothing natural products to add some moisture back into my skin. I’m sure you’ve heard all the hype around The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil and after using it non stop throughout May I can definitely say the hype is justified. It’s such a lovely oil based cleanser that feels so soothing on the skin and removes ever trace of make-up in minutes even waterproof eyeliner! I’ve noticed quite a big difference in my skin since using this as it just feels so much smoother and clear. After I use the cleanser I then go on to spritz my skin with the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist*, which is so, so lovely and refreshing. Again I’ve been using this all month and have recommended it to so many people. As it’s so refreshing I also find it’s lovely to use throughout the day to freshen up your skin and make-up.
The body care I’ve been loving this month is the Rituals Organic Cherry & Rice Milk Body Butter. It’s a lovely thick butter that sinks in really quickly to the skin and smells nice a fresh. I’ve kept my make-up pretty consistent this month with the addition of the new ColourStay Eye Shadows from Revlon that slot together so you can make your own palette. I find this is a genius idea that you can build your own tiny custom palette and think this will be perfect for travelling.
Lastly, I’ve been really getting into curling my hair this month and I’ve loved using the BaByliss Cordless Curling Tong. This was so perfect when we went away for the weekend as it’s so compact, light and portable. This will be a definite must for summer holidays and festivals.
