On Sunday,
myself and two friends thought we would treat ourselves to a little afternoon
tea at the Langham Hotel. I’m such a sucker for an afternoon tea, it’s one of
my favourite things to do and there’s so many places to go in London that you
can always find one to fit your budget. The afternoon tea at the Langham is one
of the more expensive ones that I’ve been too with their selections starting at
£40. However, even though it’s quite pricey you do get a lot for your money as throughout
the 2 hours you plates and glasses are filled up with sandwiches, cakes and tea
until you’re were ready to pop.
We opted for the Wonderland Langham Afternoon Tea, which came with a selection of finger sandwiches, the most beautifully decorated, delicate cakes, tea, champagne and scones with jam and cream.
The staff couldn’t have been more polite and attentive and even played along with posing for the photos for my blog. We spent the whole afternoon filling up on sandwiches and cakes washed down with lashings on tea and champagne whilst the pianist played in the background leaving us in a zen like zombie state.
If you’re looking for a little treat or something special to do when visiting London I couldn’t recommend this afternoon tea enough. If you want to try and grab yourself bargain I know that voucher websites have offers on afternoon tea all the time.
