It takes quite a lot for a new mascara to work its way into my make-up bag as I generally tend to stick to my two favourite products- Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara for day wear and YSL Shocking Volume mascara for evening wear. So when I received a sample of the new Le Volume de Chanel I was pretty skeptical that it would be better than the two I already use; and I rarely find that high end mascaras are better than drug store ones.
Oh, how wrong I was!
This stuff is worth its weight in gold. I think I embarrassing said ‘wow’ when I first used it (to myself). The amount that this lengthens and adds volume to your lashes with the smallest amount of application is amazing.
I’ve started using this as my day wear mascara as if you’re careful with the application you can avoid clumpy lashes, which you sometimes get with the YSL one.
I’m going to be so tempted to buy the full sized product when this runs out however, I’m not sure I could justify spending £24 on mascara when there’s so many good drug store bargains out there.
