Gelupo is a cute little spot near Piccadilly Circus and is the creation of Jacod Kennedy the executive chief of Bocca di Lupo. Staying true to his roots he only ever picks the finest ingredients to create a variety of incredibly inventive and delicious ice creams and sorbets like nothing you’ve ever tasted before, made freshly every day. Expect wonderfully punchy flavours from Gelupo, I opted for the kiwi, gin and elderflower and a scoop of blood orange, which were both punchy and flavoursome like nothing I’d tasted before. My friend tried the mint sorbet, which was nothing like your standard choc chic but tasted exactly like fresh mint leaves. The menu varies between £3-5 depending on which pot you have, but the staff are very generous with their scoops! As today is such a beautiful sunny day I’d highly recommend popping down to pay them a visit!
