At the weekend I went home to see my parents for my mums early birthday and we managed to do quite a lot of homely shopping! I get a little carried away when I’m in any kind of home ware or craft shop as I just can’t help but pick up little trinkety bits (even though I have a million heart shaped ornaments in my room). I’ve been wanting a vintage glass jar for my cotton wool pads to remove my make-up for a while now, so when I saw this one for only £2 it went straight in my basket. It’s probably fair to say that I have somewhat of a candle obsession, especially seasonal ones so I picked up another winter spiced scented candle- in my defence I didn’t have a mulled wine scented candle yet, so this is totally fine. I also bought two beautiful Christmas candle holders which have a lovely little tree pattern on them that light up when they have tea lights in them (it’s completely irrelevant that I’m away for the whole of December). Lastly I bought this pretty white wicker heart basket to tidy up all my beauty products on my bedside table. I think these are almost all justified purchases as lets face it, you can never have enough candles right, right?
