So yesterday marked the start of of a very wet and windy London Fashion Week AW14. I’ve been kindly invited to shows and backstage with Toni & Guy this week, which is super excited as this is my first full fashion week. I started the day backstage at John-Pierre Braganza at Somerset House where I watched the team create a contrasting hair look that portrays a powerful yet soft and gentle woman. They weaved fake white and lilac coloured hair into a twist braid with a topsy tail hair loop. MAC then created a strong eye look with plenty of eye liner to give a twist on the classic elegant liner. After the show I popped over to Debenhams to their LFW boutique lounge for a pick me up blow dry as I got caught in a huge down pour and Essie manicure before heading over to Fashion Scout for Pam Hogg. The hair for Pam Hogg was huge bouncey crazy coloured wigs for the theme of courage. My last show of the day was Gyunel at the ME Hotel where I bumped into the beautiful Olivia Palermo and Tanya Burr. This show was inspired by snowdrops and a Russian winter woodland where the clothes were used as a canvas for oil paintings transformed into digital prints. To end my crazy long day I rushed to meet my boyfriend for a lovely Valentines Day dinner at Hakkasan and a much needed cocktail!
