Bobbi Brown have released their new Surf & Sand Collection in collaboration with Kate Upton and just look how beautiful it is, isn’t it just the most perfect summer collection ever? If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know how much I love Bobbi Brown’s make up and I’ve never been disappointed with any of their collections.
Sand Eye Shadow Palette- £48*
Sheer Lip Colour Shades Peach Sorbet & Summer Nude- £18*
Long-Wear Eye Pencil- Black Chocolate- £18*
Brightening Blush- Pink- £34*
Surf & Sand contains two eye shadow palettes and I have the Sand Palette, which is a mix of 8 browns and golden colours then there is the Surf palette, which contains more pastel and light shades. As with all Bobbi Brown shadows they’re pack onto the lid really well and blend easily.
There are 4 Lip Stick shades: Sunlit Pink, Summer Nude, Peach Sorbet & Pink Taffy. The lipsticks are really smooth and buttery and apply as a sheer lip colour so even though the peach colours look quite intense they actually come out as a lovely light colour on the lips.
There are two Long-Wear Eye Pencils and on Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in a lovely gold colour. I have the Black Chocolate Eye Pencil and I absolutely love this for smoking out on the lower lash lash line. It last all day and blends really easily with both fingers and a brush.
Lastly are the Brightening Blushes. I have the shade Pink but there’s also a bronzy version. The pink shade of the palette is a really light pink blush, almost too the point that it doesn’t look like you’re wearing blusher. It also has two shimmery shades at the end to add as a highlight but I found these didn’t really show up too much on my skin. I prefer their Shimmer Bricks as a highlighter.
As you can probably tell I bloody love this collection but if I were to recommend buying one thing it would be the Sand Shadow Palette. I think the shades are absolutely beautiful and you can create a really lovely bronzed goddess look with it.
