Let me introduce you to the snazzy new Ghd Aura hairdryer.
Ghd are very well known for their amazing straightners but they also do many other tools and products and now they’ve just released the all promising Aura hairdryer. The new hairdryer claims to both add volume and and shine whilst drying your hair in speedy quick time. It’s able to do this by using something called Laminair™ technology, which aims to deliver 42% more concentrated stream of air than normal hairdryers. This means that the dryer allows you to work on one section of the hair without disrupting the rest of your hair.
The first thing I noticed about the Aura was how light it was. As you can see, it’s a pretty large dryer and for the size it feels really weightless. It’s also 27% quieter than most other dryers, so you can dry your hair late at night without annoying anyone!
So does it actually do what it says on the tin? I have to say that overall I am pretty impressed with the Ghd Aura, I love how light and quiet it is, it also has a ridiculously long lead which I just know will just be so handy! In terms of adding shine to my hair, I can’t say I noticed a huge difference compared to my normal dryer but for styling and holding a curl I was pretty impressed with it. I use a twirly, twisty motion when I dry my hair to add a kind of curl in my hair that you’d achieve with curlers.
