If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ll know how much I love and rave about French skincare. Well, did you know that French haircare is also pretty awesome too?
I’ve recently been trying out some Phyto hair products and as a whole I’m really impressed. I was first introduced to Phyto a few months ago when I tried out their PhytoPlage range (full review here), which I loved for preventing my hair from becoming brittle and dry on my holiday.
As you know I always look for haircare products that aim to add volume to my hair but I sometimes find that these products leave my hair with a sticky coating on the ends and leave my scalp feeling irritated. As Phyto products are all completely natural and don’t contain any nasty ingredients I’ve found that their Volume Shampoo and Conditioner do a really great job at beefing up my hair without the sticky or itchy feeling.
The way this range works is by wrapping the hair and from plumping within so it gives a more natural thicker feel to the hair. I love what the products do to my hair but I really don’t like the packing of the Shampoo as it’s a awkward tin like bottle that I find doesn’t pour out the products very easily. I guess you can’t have everything.
The next product I’ve been trying is their Secret de Nuit night treatment, which I really like as it doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the hair and leaves my hair feeling silky soft the next day.
Lastly is the Phytojoba Conditioner. I would say that this is my least favourite product from what I’ve tried. It’s quite a thin consistency so doesn’t really feel like it’s completely treating the hair and I didn’t really notice a huge difference in my hair after use.
