Yesterday was what I call a real London day. My boyfriend and I had a few bits that we need to pick up so we went for a walk to Covent Garden as we wanted to go for lunch at Mishkin’s. I’d heard they serve amazing salt beef sandwiches so we both ordered those with pickle with some of their East End Chips, which were so good! After that we headed to John Lewis to buy some home bits and get my boyfriend a new winter coat. They’ve also just opened their Christmas shop on the 3rd floor so we spent a while wandering around and deciding what decorations we wanted for our first Christmas in our flat together.
I feel ridiculously excited for Christmas this year, I don’t know if it’s because I missed out on the whole of December last year because we were travelling around Thailand or the fact that I’ve been going to Christmas press day since June, but I’m just so ready to start getting into the festive spirit.
For my outfit I went for something casual but warm as it’s really starting to get cold now, and definitely not complaining as Autumn is my favourite season. I wore this big cosy grey jumper from H&M layered over a stripey day dress from Topshop along with my new favourite winter boots from Vince Camuto from Kurt Geiger. For accessories I had my standard tassel bag from H&M along with some gold midi rings and Chelsea Cat Eye sunglassesfrom Taylor Morris Eyewear.
