During November and December I love filling my flat with festive and spiced scents. nNrmally I buy lots of cinnamon and clove smelling candles but this year I thought I’d make some homemade decorations. I think this is the easiest and quickest way to make your home smell festive and it will cost you less than £5- that’s much cheaper than a £30 candle!
All you will need is:
2 X Oranges
1 pot of whole cloves
Ribbon- I got mine from Tiger for £1
This is literally the easiest thing to make, all you need to do is push the cloves into orange trying not to squash the tops too much. I like to try and keep my lines as straight as possible to make a nice pattern. Then once you’ve covered the whole orange in cloves tie a nice bow with your ribbon and you’re done.
The smell that these oranges produce is the most Christmasy scent ever, and I think they look really pretty placed around the house.
