I often go out with old school and home friends on Christmas eve but on the odd year that I don’t I tend to do a few things to get me relaxed and ready for Christmas Day.
Christmas Eve then it’s the perfect time to give yourself a pamper, cosy up in front of the TV with some Christmas classics and prep yourself for a day of too much food and chocolate.
I’ve been saving up the Lush Christmas Eve bath bomb because it just didn’t feel right using it before today. My current favourite book at the moment is Not That Kind Of Girl by Lena Dunham because I think she’s freakin amazing and witty. I couldn’t think of anything more perfect than reading this all snuggled up in a pile of blankets by the fire
I like to use a good face make before xmas day so my skin looks super fresh on the day, and my current favourite is the No Wrinkles Time Dose Mask from This works as you can tailor the kind of treatment you want by the amount of time you leave it on for. Lastly I’ve painted my nails in the super glittery and festive polish from Barry M in Ruby Slipper as if you can’t have glittery nails, when can you?!
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas with your friends and family no matter where you are in the world. I’ll be spending the day eating as much food and chocolate as I can handle in between naps in front of Christmas films in my Christmas pyjamas.
