If New Years Eve isn’t a time to get dressed up then I don’t know when is. For this New Years Eve I’m in the Lake District with my boyfriend and friends so I’m not getting too dressed up but I’m still going to make an effort with my make-up. The quickest and easiest way for me to spruce up my make up is to always just add a bright lip.
I’ve currently been loving the lip bullet from Topshop in the shade Get Me Bodied as it’s matte so lasts a really long time. I love how deep purple it looks on the lips and think it works really beautifully with gold and silver eyeshadow.
With dark lips I like to keep my skin looking really fresh so I used my Nars Sheer Glow foundation then a little bronzer to warm the skin up then finishing off with some of The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones.
On my eyes I used a matte nude shade all over, some Chanel glitter pigment pressed all over and then a matte brown shade through the crease. To finish off the look I used my favourite Joan Collins liquid eyeliner for a cat flick and a couple of layers of the Tarte Gifted mascara.
