Spring is my favourite season for scents as I love light and floral perfumes and I think that those scents fit the season perfectly. I thought for this post instead of featuring 4 new perfumes I’d introduce you to 2 old favourites and 2 new favourites from recent releases. I’ve spoken about the Jo Malone London Blue Skies and Blossom Spring collection in this post and I’m still absolutely in love with the Plum Blossom scent. They have completely encapsulated the essence of Spring in the scent and bottle. Another new fragrance is from Dipytque and it’s their Florabellio Eau De Toilette. This is such a unique scent as it has notes of sea salt, fennel, coffee and apricot scented Osmanthus. I would say this is quite a heavy Spring scent but also light at the same time. This is one I wear in the evenings or for date nights.
A very light and feminine scent and one that instantly makes me think of sunshine and rolling fields is Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream. I think this is a perfume that would work for women of all ages, it’s light enough for young girls to wear but as it has notes of musk and jasmine it means it’s not too sweet.
Lastly is a perfume I picked up when I was last in New York and it’s Elizabeth and James Nirvana White. This is a very musky peony, floral scent and is so perfect for Spring and Summer evenings. I would describe this as feminine, floral and sensual and I also think the packaging is very chic.
I know the perfume is so personal but hopefully I’ve picked a nice mixture of scents to suit everyone!
