A few weeks ago I posted about some Seventeen make up bits that I was trying out and promised to do an updated post once I’d truly got to grips with them all. My main aim for using the products was to achieve that golden glowing goddess look as that’s my favourite style of make up to wear on holiday. Not only have I found that the products are incredibly good quality for the price but they are also really great at creating effortless bronzed make up.
To create the look in the pictures almost everything I used was from Seventeen. I started by using the Instant Glow Skin Wow Tan liquid bronzer all over my face to warm up my complexion and then went in with the CC cream for coverage. I would say the CC cream is more like a foundation as it gives amazing coverage without looking cakey. I then used one of my own concealers for any blemishes and the under eye area. Next I used the Wow 3 Way Liquid Highlighter, which I think is my favourite product from everything I’ve tried. This gives such a beautiful subtle highlight without moving your make up. I used this on the tops of my cheek bones, brow bone and collar bone.
For contour and bronzing I used the Seventeen Contour kit. I love the bronze in it but I’m not entirely sure what the lighter shade is meant to do as it doesn’t contain any shimmer and isn’t that amazing of a powder. The bronzer, however is the perfect shade for both bronzing and contouring. I then used my old favourite seventeen blush in the shade First Kiss.
For the brows I used the powder shade from the Brow Kit with a little bit of the wax to set them in place. For eyes I used a bronze coloured eyeshadow stick and just blended it out as I didn’t want anything too fancy going on. I then applied a super thin black line on my top lash line with the Wet Look Lacquer Eyelier. I love this liquid liner as the brush is super thin so you can achieve a really subtle lined look. To finish off my eyes I used their Falsifeye HD mascara, which is something that I was really impressed with. I’m so picky with mascaras but found this one made my lashes so long and separated in just two coats.
