I’m very picky when it comes to mascara’s, it very rare that I actually find something that can rival my beloved Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. There’s been a lot of hype around the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and having completely fallen in love with it over the past month (as featured in my August Favourites) I can say it’s totally justified and worth the hype. The packaging is beautiful, it’s a metallic pale pink casing that feels really weighty and high end. The brush is hourglass in shape with fibre bristles which I prefer to plastic wands as I think they really grab the lashes.
The reason I love this mascara over others I tried is in one application it gives super long, thick black lashes. I’m a big fan of big lashes, I think they really complete my make up and I hate when you have to apply over 3 coats to achieve that kind of end result. I would suggest using a light hand and the formula can be quite gloopy but if applied barely you can be left with almost fake looking lashes (in a good way) with minimal effort.
Given that the formula gives such black and thick lashes you would expect a lot of flaking throughout the day but I haven’t found this at all and I’ve also found that since being in Greece I don’t see any transfer under the eyes.
If you’re on the hunt for a new mascara and love getting thick, long lashes within seconds then I definitely recommend trying out the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara!
