If you’re an avid beauty lover then you’ll be a huge fan of Cult Beauty as the way I view it they’re like a supped up version of Space NK. They stock the most amazing brands both established and emerging from all over the world. I’ve recently been having a play with with some of their newest brands and thought I’d give the low down on the products.
Beauty Drops from SkinOwl are little serum boosting drops to enhance your skincare. There are 3 to chose from which all contain ingredients tailored to different skin types. So Geranium for combination dehydrated skin, Clary Sage for ageing, dry skin and Lavender for acne prone skin. I attended the launch of these a few months ago and got the opportunity to chat with the lovely founder, who said that she loves using these as a steam to really clear out her pores. She just adds a few drops to a bowl of boiling water and pops her head over the bowl under a towel for a few minutes.
Next is Odacite, which again is an organic brand aimed at delivering personalised skincare. The idea is that there is a serum for every skin type and problem. There are 18 serums in total each aimed at a different skin problem, so there’s one for clogged pores, dehydrated skin, sensitive skin, sagging skin and the list goes on. You can use the serums on their own or use them with your existing moisturiser to boost your skincare. Can you also us them with their Oleosomes Time Delivery Cream to make the serum even more potent and active. Personally I love the idea behind Odacite, it’s tailored skincare targeting exact issues without having to go see a dermatologist.
Last but not least is W3ll People, which is a skin-loving make up line developed by 3 beauty experts one of which being the former creative consultant for NARS. The products are completely free of any fillers, parabens, propylene glycol and any other nasty chemicals. I have the Universal Multi-Stick, which is a lip and cheek stick that’s made from nourishing grape seed, olive, camellia, castor and safflower seed oils along with aloe, antioxidant green tea and Vitamin E. The stick is lovely a creamy to apply, blends beautifully on the skin and lasts a really long time. I also have the Bio Brightening Invisible Powder, which is meant to give real life Instagram skin. I can’t say my skin look flawless but it is a nice setting powder.
